United Technical Solutions (UTS) is a technical welding resource supporting customers as an extension of their manufacturing engineering group. Our team specializes in welding engineering technology, weld procedure development, specialized welding projects and optimizing of welding processes and manufacturing. Our mission was created with the belief that if customer welding processes were optimized, then as a partnership, both parties would be successful and expand together.

UTS has been the go-to company to optimize welding operations, develop weld procedures, support weld process validation, conduct laboratory testing and certified weld inspection. United Technical Solutions guides customers through the maze of weld specifications, design requirements and base material welding challenges. The team at UTS provides support and services for customers throughout the United States and also around the globe, traveling wherever weld support is needed.

The accredited testing facilities at United Technical Solutions are fully capable of evaluating to any weld specification, including AWS, API, NACE, MIL248 and PED-European. Welds are commonly evaluated and tested for metallurgical properties, mechanical properties, weld geometry and for weld discontinuities. United Technical Solutions is the company that helps determine which specifications, tests, evaluations and training is required to validate a weld process into manufacturing or fabricating facilities.
